Hello Element 11 Volunteers,

We’re so excited to welcome you to this year’s event and grateful for your time and effort. To help everything run smoothly, we’re using Rosterfy to manage volunteer shifts and track hours.

Here’s what you need to know before you arrive:

Why Rosterfy?

Rosterfy helps us:

  • Track your volunteer hours accurately
  • Ensure you receive any earned perks or recognition
  • Keep the volunteer program organized and efficient

All volunteer hours must be recorded in Rosterfy to be counted. This is important for us to properly count your hours towards a discount or free ticket for next year, and for your swag!

Using the Rosterfy App on Your Phone

The easiest and most efficient way to check in, check out, and manage your shifts is by using the Rosterfy Community App on your phone. 

With the app, you can:

  • Check in and out of your assigned shifts
  • View and sign up for available shifts
  • Track your schedule and total hours

Location Services Must Be Enabled

Rosterfy uses geo-fencing, which means you must be physically near the Volunteer Lounge in order to check in and out of your shifts.

Please make sure to allow the app to access your phone’s location services when prompted. This is required for your check-ins to register properly.

Note: We may expand check-in zones for specific roles like Gate/Greeters, but for now, all check-ins need to be close to the Volunteer Lounge.

If You’re Not Bringing Your Phone

If you prefer not to carry your phone during your shift, we will have tablets available near the Volunteer Kitchen for check-in and check-out. You will need your Rosterfy username and password to log in on a shared tablet, so make sure you have that information written down or memorized before the event.

WiFi Availability

WiFi will be available in and around the Volunteer Kitchen, making it easier to use the app or check in on a tablet.
